Besida is an Afrocentric women's clothing brand based in the United States. Its products are unique and handmade in Benin City, Nigeria using fair trade values.
Besida needed magnetic, artful copy that emotionally connected the diaspora to the brand.

The original About page featured a lot of historical context and background that created a textbook-esque picture of Africa and Nigeria.

After extensive brand voice strategy, we wove in a poetic voice to bring the About page to life, emphasizing the connection between the “homelands” of Africa and wherever a potential customer may be reading from.
